BREAKING NEWS FROM 4X4 BASS JIGS
We are proud to announce that our new ¾oz and 1oz flipping jigs are now in production! These jigs should hit the market in just a few weeks and will be the first double label jig featuring professional anglers Randall Tharp and Brandon McMillan! We have been working with Randall and Brandon for close to a year and a half designing and testing these jigs. After countless hours on the water and in the shop we are confident that this is the best pitching and flipping jig on the market!
As in all 4x4 jigs, this new design is 100% custom and was built with fishing heavy cover in mind. First, we pushed as much weight forward into the head to allow the jig to fall straight down and crash through cover. Next, the line tie is semi recessed and positioned perfectly to reduce snags and protect your knot. This jig features a unique cross turned eye, 6/0, heavy wire, Gamakatsu hook. With this big hook there is no need to worry about losing fish anymore and our custom wire keeper is the most secure in the industry at keeping your favorite trailer from sliding off. Like the rest of our 4x4 lineup, this jig has the double collared base silicone skirt with an oversized skirt neck that is guaranteed NOT to slide down or off! This jig also boasts a totally new weed guard designed and built exclusively for 4x4 Bass Jigs. Our new, heavy, weed guard will allow you to flip or pitch this jig in the thickest weeds, mats, or brush in search of that monster. During the design of the weed guard we addressed the hookup ratio in relation to the stiffness and angle of the weed guard as it exits the jig head. Countless hours of hook setting and testing went into the final placement of the weed guard and we are confident we have given you a weedless jig with a near 100% hook up ratio.
